Reports come from India where Apple workers went on a rampage at an iPhone production plant on India.

This event occurred on Sunday and caused a great deal of damage to the Wistron factory. The motives to do it? Claims said that it was because the workers were not getting paid.

A worker who spoke to The Times said that the employees were discussing their salaries, and some claimed that they had received as low as Rs 500 ($7) in their bank accounts. The end of that conversation turned into violence when the shift ended.

There was another video posted on social media that showed smashed CCTV cameras and glass panels, there were also broken lights and upturned vehicles at Wistron's manufacturing facility in Bangalore. According to the Times of India, most of the 2000 employees leaving at the end of the day on Friday night were involved in the vandalism.

Another staff member claimed that they have not been paid in full for 4 months and they were being forced to work extra shift hours. One worker mentioned that an engineering graduate was promised Rs 21,000 ($285) per month, but instead he was manipulated and got Rs 16,000 ($217). For those who were not engineers, their salary was reduced to Rs 8,000 ($108).

According to BBC News, Apple partner Wistron told AFP news agency that "the incident was caused by people of unknown identities from outside who intruded into and damaged its facility with unclear intentions."

That claim from Wistron above is clearly false since 100 staff members were arrested on the act by the Indian police.
